BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Fengjie Valve Technique Service Company Ltd. used to be the Inspection Team of Econosto Shanghai Office. Due to the excellent work, we were interviewed by the magazine VALVE WORLD (Edition October 2000). Two years ago, we became an independent organization specialized in valve inspection. We have eight full-time inspectors at present.

In addition to safeguard quality for our clients throughout the whole production process, we also take effective action to ensure delivery time, which is of great importance. As such, we actually supervise the whole process of an order for our customers.

Our inspection work is as follows:
1) Casting Pour Process supervision, which includes
-Pour process supervision
- Heat Treatment Supervision
- Pre-pour chemical composition analysis supervision
-After pour chemical composition supervision,
- Mechanical testing supervision
2) Casting inspection:
- Surface Defect check
- Dimension check
- Liquid Penetrant check (on order request)
- Magnetic particle Test (supervision according to order)
- Ultrasonic Test
- X-ray test (Supervision according to order)
3) Supervision on Machine of parts
- Dimension check
- Surface roughness check
- Hardness check (stem seats etc)
4) Assembling Supervision
- Parts material check according to drawings
- Type check (Packing for example) according to drawings
- Quantity of parts check according to drawings
- cleanliness of parts before assembly
- Product operational test direct after assembly
5) Pressure Test Witnessing
- The test will strictly follow the technical specification of the order and according to standards such as API598, API6D, depending on the type of products and the design standards.
6) Paint Supervision:
- Surface preparation,
- Painting process,
- Drying process
7) Packaging Supervision (optional)
- Check possible paint damage
- Check name-plate positioning and correctness
- Check possible missing items
8) Document Check
- Correctness of documentation ( Charge Numbers, item description, style correctness)
- Correctness of data ( according to raw testing data)

The activities above can be chosen by our clients when needed. For different valve manufacturers (foundries, factories) the emphasis can be slightly different. Also, some of the inspection/supervision activities can be seemed important by one client, while being regarded as of minor importance by another, such as painting supervision and packaging supervision. Therefore, the above is only a guideline of a complete operation. For each client, the inspection will be tailored to his needs.
