Hangzhou Jinlipu Electrical Co., Ltd. (Hangzhou TV Factory No.2 before), founded in 1981, is renowned as one of the One Hundred Largest Electronics Enterprises in mainland China. It is also the key TV set manufacturer who earns foreign exchange in the electronic industry of Zhejiang Province, with scientific researching, technical service, marketing, import/export trading, as well as production.

Jinlipu's yearly output is over one hundred millions US$. It covers an area of 100,000 square meters and floor space of 135,000 square meters, employing more than 5,000 staff, 800 of whom are technical personnel.

Jinlipu has 26 assembly lines, and over 1350 sets of testing/surveying instruments, including computer-controlled auto inserting machines, radiation testing instruments imported from the USA, and signal generating systems, computer on-line testing instruments, computers and software, color analytical instruments, CRT testing jigs, and artificial geomagnetic field from Toshiba and Philips.
