Shanghai baosteel construction design&research institute who established in the year 1981 is one subsidiary of baosteel group, and mainly engaged in the development and production of vibration damping steel sheet, cold-rolled forming steel hollow section, investigation for the advanced process of metallurgy and equipment, and engineering design.

Shanghai baosteel institute mainly manufacturing: Vibration damping steel sheet, ERW steel hollow section (square, rectangular), round steel pipe, universal open-shaped hollow section and channel steel etc.

For vibration-damping steel sheet, it composed of 3-layer compound structure of metal/high-molecular damping material/metal that we developed, applicable in the surrounding of vibration and noise. Size: Thickness: 0.6mm-3.0mm, width: 600-1250mm, length: 100-2400mm. It can be widely used in domestic appliance: Base and housing of the air conditioner, washing machine and refrigeration etc; Automobile: Casing of the oil tray, fuel tank, gear box and the engine; Engineering machinery: Cover and housing of the diesel engine; Architecture: Door, floor slab, music hall etc; Communication: Sound-absorption panel of the expressway, railway and so on.

For ERW steel hollow section(square, rectangular), the size ranges from 20x20 to 500x500 with thickness from 1.5mm to 16mm; For round steel pipes, we have the size: Od114.3, od168.3, od194, and the max. Thickness can be 12.5mm. The standard can be JIS g3466, ASTM a500, en10219 etc, and can also manufacture the products as per the client's requirements.

The products can be widely used in construction, ship making, mechanism, bus, transportation, railway or other fields, and it has been used in some national projects, such as: Tianjin olympic sports center, pudong airport, xiamen haicang bridge etc.
