Hengshui Xisan Inside Painting Art Co., Ltd was established in 1996. The company mainly produces inside painted craftworks, such as snuff bottles, crystal balls, table screens, ornaments, vases, teapots, etc. There are over 120 employees working in the two departments of our company: Inside painting department and grinding workshop.
Our company produces customized products, for example, a series of inside painted snuff bottles on the subject of Chengde scenery, a group of inside painted cups for a conference on the return of Hong Kong in 1997, a series of inside painted snuff bottles on the subject of a famous tourist resort_Hawaii in 2001. In June 2002, a work "Shanhaiguan and the Great Wall" received an award of merit in the first National Tourist Souvenir Designing Contest. In September 2002, a series of snuff bottles on the subject of Hebei province was given Award of Merit in the first Hebei Tourist Souvenir Designing Contest.
In 2001, Wang Yousan and Liu Hui were commissioned by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade to paint portraits of six leaders at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders Meeting, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mahathir Bin Mohamad, Mexican President Vicente Fox, Prime Minister Helen Clark of New Zealand, Australian Prime Minister John Winston Howard, and US President George W. Bush.
In 2002, we got our own brand name "xisan".
In February 2003, Chinese Inside Painting Center Museum opened as part of our company. The museum is a specialized one on the art of snuff bottles. There are nearly 1, 000 snuff bottles of various materials and shapes.
In December 2006, Xisan brand inside painted snuff bottles of our company were acknowledged that these handicraft products conformed to the rigorous standard set by the UNESCO Craft Award of Excellence for Handicrafts (formerly known as Seal of Excellence for Handicrafts) program.
In April 2008, our company was named as one of the first group of model cultural industry bases in Hebei Province.
In September 2008, our company was named as a national model cultural industry base.
