It was founded in 1994, and has become a high-tech animal pharmaceutical company, specializing in R&D, production, sales and technical services.

In 2013 HFQ passed the GMP inspection from the Ministry of Agriculture, boasting 8 workshops, 8 production lines and the ability to produce 9 distinct formulations. HFQ was also the first to establish domestic animal usage soft bag infusions, medicinal micro-ecological preparation production lines, the first to introduce the international advanced level and the largest domestic final sterilization large capacity muscle injection, and intravenous injection (non-PVC multi-layer co-extruded film) production lines, which improved the automation level to ensure stable product quality as well as high efficiency.

At present, HFQ has more than 20 scientific research achievements with independent intellectual property rights. The development of "compound amoxicillin colistin sulfate soluble powder" and "composite living bacterium preparation" obtained the certificate of "national new veterinary drug". The "composite viable bacterial preparation" obtained a veterinary drug approval number, which is unique among similar domestic products. The successful development of "sulfadiazine suspension" broke the monopoly of similar foreign products in Chinese market.

In DEC. 2014, HFQ accessed to the national high-tech enterprise title.
