Chongqing Geological Instrument Factory, founded in 1964, is one of the members of the world top 500 enterprises China Geo-Equipment Group. The factory has a large number of highly qualified technical personnel and specialized production workers, absorbs international advanced electronic equipment manufacturing technology, becomes national key enterprise and production base which is specialized in geophysical instruments development and production.

Currently manufacture products include electrical exploration series, logging exploration series, seismic exploration series, geophone series and radioactive exploration series etc. Five categories of various types of geological instruments, widely used in geological prospecting for mineral resources, engineering exploration, seismic monitoring, groundwater searching and other related industries.

The factory has passed ISO 9001: 2008 international standard quality system certification, certified as High-tech Enterprise certification in July 2010 and acquired Chongqing Four-Star innovation Fund focus on fostering enterprise in the same year of October, also considered to be certified Enterprise Technology Center of Chongqing and Chongqing Civilization Unit.
