BeiQi Foton Motor Company Changsha plant was established on May 7, 1999, who is the most important strategically base of Foton Group in south of China and integrate R&D, manufacturing, selling and service. Changsha plant possesses 2200 employees and owns the annual producing capacity of 100 thousand units. In 2008, Foton Changsha sold 70032 units and sales revenue was 52 million USD which was engaged in series mini, light, medium and heavy-duty trucks, complete type dump trucks under the brand of FORLAND. As one of leading company, Changsha plant has been developing rapidly and got very good market share all over in China and exported to many oversea countries such as Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, Syria, Mexico, Iraq, Iran, Madagascar, Ethiopia, Egypt, Colombia etc.

According to the strategy of Foton Group, Foton now operate oversea business by two main brands (FOTON and FORLAND), like Toyota Group operated by Toyota and Lexus, hyundai and KIA. Forland was engaged in series truck of low and middle market specially by us; Foton will be engaged in SUV, pick up, bus mainly, for truck, it was only engaged in up-market.
