Diamond & CBN Products are made in four different bond systems:
Resin being the most common, it's very versatile and offers great elasticity for good stock removal and finish, it's best suited to Surface/Cylindrical grinding and Toolmaking operations.

Electroplated has good grinding efficiency because of its higher concentration. Because the grit is electroplated onto a preformed steel blank, it's ideal for form grinding or carbides, steels, plastics and other non ferrous materials.

Vitrified is best suited to high volume production work due to its strong bond, good heat transfer and good grinding accuracy. It's best suited to Internal/Surface grinding operations.

Metal is mainly used in the construction industry for the cutting of Stone, Cement, Bricks, etc., with diamond cutting blades. Metal bond products are also used for grinding and finishing of glass/ceramic products, they offer good wheel life and shape retention but have a poor grinding efficiency and are best suited in the finer grits.
